You can almost feel the heat of the train in this shot as a loaded coal train approaches the 12th Street overpass in Cayce, SC. The heatwaves coming off of the locomotives look photoshopped, but they're not. Couple a train starting up from a stop with the cold air that day and this is what you get.

South Carolina native, photographer, railroad aficionado, I am happy when there is a camera strapped around my neck and something interesting in my viewfinder.
