Artist's Description
Lancaster and Chester SW900 #900 passes the former Springs Mills Grace Plant with a single load of lumber bound for Builders Supply in Lancaster. I shot this is 2010 a few years after Springs moved overseas. Until then, this plant was a large customer of coal for the L&C.
L&C #90 was one of the last two SW900s built by EMD back in October, 1965. It was sent offline in 2016 to act as start up power for a new Guf & Ohio line in easter North Carolina.
