Description
Roses have been planted along Main Street in Lancaster, South Carolina for the Red Rose Festival later this month.
Known as the Red Rose City, Lancaster was settled in the 1700s by pioneers from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In turn, the Pennsylvanians traced their city's founders to English areas under the House of Lancaster, which had a red rose as its emblem.

Joseph, what beautiful roses which boldly present themselves! Nice clarity in their petals and lush blossoms, against the soft focus stately Court House- LF
