Artist's Description
This was the train I always wanted to catch on this bridge, so I was happy in 2010 when my work schedule and the trains schedule seemed to be friendly toward one another for a few weeks. This Norfolk Southern wood chip train is using CSX trackage to get back to Columbia to head northbound. Led by a former Conrail locomotive, the train is seen passing over the former Columbia, Newberry & Laurens bridge over Riverfront Park where I had been waiting patiently for its arrival.
