One of Charlotte's historic trollies leaves the downtown transit station on the new street car line dubbed the Gold Line by CATS, the Charlotte Area Transit System. These neat old cars will handled traffic on the line until the extensions to the Gold Line are complete at which point plans are to replace them with modern street cars.
