Artist's Description
A rusting Lancaster and Chester fifty foot box car that I shot a few years ago. The L&C used a lot of boxcars for a lot of years when the Springs Mills textile plants were the main source of income on the South Carolina shortline. Springs has moved overseas and sold the railroad, which still thrives moving other kinds of freight in other types of rail cars.
