Three GMTX GP38-2s lead a long L&C train on the former Southern Railway SB Line in Lancaster, SC.
The lead locomotive, GMTX 2664, was built in 1968 as Penn Central GP40 3166, then became Conrail 3166. According to online sources, it then became Denver, Rio Grande & Western 3151. When GMTX took ownership, they rebuilt it to GP38-2 standards and numbered her 2664. The L&C returned it to the leaser when new parent owner Gulf & Ohio Railways began sending their own power.
