Description
This was the first time I caught either of the new engines running on the Lancaster and Chester Railroad. L&C #6002 is seen here pulling a train out of Richburg, South Carolina. The 6002 is an EMD SD40T-2 built as Southern Pacific 8257. After SP was taken over by Union Pacific, it would sold to the Gulf & Ohio Railway's where she worked for the Yadkin Valley Railroad. She becomes the first of two six axle engines for the L&C.
