Description
Lancaster and Chester crew is on board L&C MP15DC #2369 in East Chester, South Carolina as they shove toward the interchange with CSX to drop off some tanker cars. L&C 2369 is a rarity. I believe it might be the first non-blue locomotive to wear the iconic Springmaid logo.
The locomotive was built in 1977 for Southern Railway. It later became a Norfolk Southern motor after the merger with Norfolk & Western. NS assigned it to their Norfolk & Portsmouth Beltline before selling it to the L&C's parent owner, Gulf & Ohio Railways, in 2016.
