Description
GSMR GP9 #777 and 1751 leads the Tuckasegee River excursion past the railrod's engine shops where their newest addition to the fleet sits, former LTEX 2467. The 2467 was an EMD GP30 originally built for the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in 1963. It later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2467 before being bought by Larry's Truck & Electric (LTEX) and then sold to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. The GSMR #777 is a former Chicago & Northwestern GP9.
