Description
One day in October, 2013, I finished a day of shooting the Lancaster and Chester Railroad and decided to head home the long way. I always liked passing through the small town of Kershaw in the county of Lancaster, South Carolina so I could pass by the Archer Dnaiels Midland plant there. On this day, there promised to be nothing doing as I had left the Kershaw-bound train over in Richburg. Soon I was delighted to be proven wrong as I caught the little ADM SW8 switcher off grounds picking up some cars. This has been the only time so far I've been able to catch it front uncoupled! The little critter is a former Conrail motor originally built for the Reading Railroad.
